The BattleMage

“Blade in one hand. Spell in the other. Why choose?”

The BattleMage is the embodiment of balance between martial prowess and arcane power. Whether they began as a warrior who took up the study of magic, or a mage who learned the ways of steel, the result is the same: a versatile combatant who can devastate with sword or spell—and often both.

BattleMages do not shy from the front lines. They stride into danger with elemental energy crackling at their fingertips and weapons gleaming in hand. While they may not strike as hard as a pure Fighter or wield magic with the same depth as a dedicated Mage, they make up for it with adaptability and tactical strength. A well-trained BattleMage is capable of adjusting to almost any situation, weaving together brute force and spellcraft to keep their enemies guessing.

Most BattleMages gravitate toward a particular focus—some favor spellcasting with melee as support, while others use magic to augment and empower their physical attacks. Regardless of preference, the duality of their training makes them prized allies and dangerous foes.

Though their path is slower to develop and requires more discipline to master, the rewards are immense. Few can match their versatility. Fewer still can survive it.
