“That’s right—keep your eyes on the Fighter. I’ll be right behind you.”
Rogues are masters of subtlety, precision, and opportunity. Considered the jacks-of-all-trades in Volaire, they excel in areas where brute strength fails—favoring agility, cunning, and impeccable timing over direct confrontation. If there’s a locked door, a hidden trap, or a mark too dangerous for polite company to approach, send in the Rogue.
While others clash steel in open battle, the Rogue lingers at the edge of the fray, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. A quick stab to the back, a whispered poison on a blade, a vial of alchemical doom slipped into an enemy’s pocket—they know how to make pain personal.
Rogues tend to favor smaller weapons, light armor, and a low profile. Many are skilled in poisons, traps, alchemy, or assassination—or, if you’re truly unlucky, all of the above. But don’t worry—Rogues are very trustworthy... when it suits them.
Beyond combat, they excel at infiltration and sabotage: picking locks, bypassing traps, slipping through shadows, and vanishing without a trace. A good Rogue is a thorn in the enemy’s side. A great Rogue is one you never saw coming.
So keep one hand on your blade—and the other on your coin purse.
